• Constable (WO/WT), Sub-Officer: Pay Scale ₹14,000-70,000/- (Pay Band No.2) + Grade Pay ₹6,200/- + other allowances
• Fireman, Emergency Rescuer: Pay Scale ₹14,000-70,000/- (Pay Band No.2) + Grade Pay ₹5,000/- + other allowances

• Medical Standards: Good mental and bodily health, free from physical deformities, diabetes, heart disease, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases, knock-knee, flat foot, or colour blindness. Eye sight: Distance vision 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for other without correction; Normal near vision.
• General Information: Applicants must be Citizens of India and Permanent Residents of Assam, registered with a local Employment Exchange in Assam, and fluent in Assamese or any other State language.
