• Members of the Commission: Rs. 2,000/- per meeting (Honorary Position, no fixed monthly salary)

Other Relevant Details

• Tenure: 3 Years from the date of appointment.
• Early Removal: A member can be removed from office under Section 7(1) as per the relevant act.
• Re-nomination Eligibility: Members can be eligible for re-nomination as Chairperson or Member for two additional terms.
• Chairperson Eligibility: A member who has served as Chairperson can serve as a member again, or be re-nominated as Chairperson for up to two terms.
• Reservation: 2 posts are reserved exclusively for women candidates; 4 posts for general candidates (both men and women can apply).
