- Essential Qualification: The eligibility criteria for inclusion in the panel are as prescribed by the UGC for the appointment of Assistant Professors. In the case of Post-Graduation marks and age there will be relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per rules.
- Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having expertise in trade and economy (with special focus on energy sources in the Gulf region), expertise in International Politics / IR theory (with special focus on West Asian Studies), and proficiency in English language.

Candidates must have a valid email ID for all communications. Original certificates/documents along with self-attested copies must be produced at the time of interview.
