Monthly Salary / Pay Scale

• Project Technical Support III: INR 28,000/- + HRA (House Rent Allowance). This is a consolidated payment for a temporary contractual position.

Other Relevant Details

• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in animal handling skills
  • Experience in cell culture and tissue culture techniques
  • Laboratory experience in biological or pharmaceutical research
  • Previous experience in cancer research or drug development
• Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Support: Assist in day-to-day laboratory operations and maintenance, cell/tissue culture work, manage equipment, and maintain safety standards.
  • Research Support: Assist the principal investigator and research team in project activities, conducting experiments, data collection, and sample preparation.
  • Animal Handling (if required): Handle laboratory animals according to institutional guidelines, maintain records, and assist in animal-based experiments.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate laboratory records, prepare reports, and ensure confidentiality of research data.
  • General Support: Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the smooth functioning of the research project.
• Employment Terms: This is a purely contractual temporary position for the project tenure up to 04 December 2029, subject to funding and annual performance review. Selected candidates will have no right for appointment against any ARI or funding agency's permanent/regular posts. Candidates may be assigned to another project based on institutional requirement.
• Important Terms: No Travel Allowance is admissible for interviews. Mere possession of minimum essential qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. The consideration of qualifications as 'equivalent' will be at the discretion of the selection committee. Desirable qualifications may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.
