Monthly Salary / Pay Scale

• Marine Engineer: Regular appointments on the pay scale of Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 (pay pattern linked to Industrial DA). Includes cafeteria allowance at 35% of basic pay with annual increment. Remuneration works out approximately to Rs. 1,51,000/- at the minimum of the scale, besides admissible work-related perks/allowances. Other service benefits include leave, medical aid for self and dependent family, advances for purchase of house, car etc., as per Port Authority regulations. Residential quarters on license fee are admissible (HRA component deducted if availed). New contributory Pension Scheme shall apply.

Other Relevant Details

• Candidates must undergo medical examination at the Mumbai Port Authority hospital for fitness.
• The administration reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for written test/interview.
• Wrong declarations or submission of false information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
• Applicants, if selected, will not be permitted to withdraw candidature at a later date.
