Other Relevant Details

• Appointment and Service Conditions: Governed by extant rules/regulations of the Government of UT of J&K.
• Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be Domicile(s) of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before 25 March 2026.
• Post Variation: The actual number of posts may increase or decrease during or before the completion of the selection process.
• Reservation: Applicable as per the Category-wise break up of vacancies and/or in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act/Rules.
• Category Certificate: A candidate seeking consideration under Reserved Categories must possess a valid/ Category Certificate strictly as on the Cut Off Date and upload it during online application. No further opportunity to upload documents will be provided.
• Provisional Candidature: Candidature will remain provisional until the genuineness and validity of the Reserved Category Certificate is verified by the Appointing Authority.
• False Certificate Warning: Claim for reservation based on invalid/false/fake/fraudulent/forged certificate will lead to debarment and penal action.
• Horizontal Reservation: Reservation that cuts across vertical reservation, with selected persons placed in appropriate categories.
• Horizontal Reservation for ESM and PwBDs: Applicable to the extent communicated by the Indenting Department(s) in accordance with extant rules/regulations.
• Suitability of PwBDs: Governed by extant regulations.
• ESM Reservation Pay Scale: Applicable for posts which carry Pay of and up to the Level-6E (35900-113500).
• ESM Affidavit: An Ex-Servicemen on joining any post after availing Horizontal Reservation, cannot avail the benefit for any subsequent employment. An affidavit is required at the time of scrutiny of documents.
